Saudi Arabian side preparing a bid of around €60 million to sign the Brazil international.
Al-Hilal are keen to accelerate talks with Arsenal to wrap up the signing of Gabriel Martinelli before the transfer window slams shut. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi outfit are poised to submit a formal bid in the region of £50m to £55m.
Although the winger has never pushed for an exit from north London, he is understood to look favourably upon the ambitious project tabled by the Riyadh-based side and has not ruled out calling time on his spell in the Premier League. The Saudi club have been exceptionally proactive in the market, having already snapped up Crysencio Summerville while remaining on the verge of finalising a deal for striker Ollie Watkins.
Amid the ongoing negotiations, Martinelli was omitted from Arsenal’s matchday squad for the first two competitive fixtures of the campaign. The decision from the Gunners was taken to safeguard the 25-year-old forward’s physical condition and prevent any potential knock from scuppering the move.
At Al-Hilal, the Brazilian international, who featured at the 2026 World Cup, is viewed as the natural successor to Malcom following his departure for Al-Jazira.
