The club has conceded just 29 goals so far, a tally bettered only by Liverpool and Arsenal in the English top flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spanish centre-back&#8217;s contract includes a release clause worth \u00a350 million, which has sparked interest from some of Europe&#8217;s biggest clubs. Reports from talkSPORT suggest that Real Madrid, in particular, are keen to secure his services and have identified him as a &#8220;major target&#8221; for the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madrid&#8217;s interest is understandable, with the contracts of key defenders David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger and Raul Ascencio all set to expire in less than 18 months.
