The Austrian player is suffering from a muscle injury in the adductor muscle of his left leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Real Madrid&#8217;s injury problems continue to pile up, especially in defence. Carlo Ancelotti&#8217;s side announced on Tuesday that they have a new absentee for their upcoming games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Santiago Bernabeu club, Austrian David Alaba will be out for the next two or three weeks after suffering a muscle injury in the adductor muscle of his left leg. This is a major setback for Alaba in his recovery from the same leg in which he suffered the anterior cruciate knee ligament injury that kept him out of action for 399 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Following tests carried out on our player David Alaba by Real Madrid&#8217;s medical services, he has been diagnosed with an adductor injury in his left leg,&#8221; the club said in a statement about the player. Alab made his return on 19 January, playing the last 14 minutes of Real Madrid&#8217;s 4-1 win at home to UD Las Palmas. Since then, he played 26 minutes in the 5-1 Champions League win over Salzburg and 22 minutes in the 3-0 win at Pucela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, the former Bayern Munich man joins Antonio Rudiger, who will also miss the next few games for &#8216;Los Blancos&#8217; due to physical problems. In addition to these, there are long-term injuries to two key players in Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all this, Carlo Ancelotti is left with practically no alternatives beyond the Tchouameni-Asencio duo to form the centre-back pairing.
