In October 2025, under the Qatari chief&#8217;s stewardship, the body rebranded to shake off that tarnished image and herald a fresh dawn for European football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the summit in Copenhagen, Al-Khelaifi confirmed the roadmap for Madrid&#8217;s reintegration following their agreement with UEFA to shelve the Super League once and for all. &#8220;We are delighted that Real Madrid are in the process of returning to the EFC,&#8221; the executive explained, before mounting a staunch defence of the Spanish heavyweights: &#8220;Madrid and Florentino have been disrespected.
