Our legal department acts in these situations. We take action against anyone who has condemned us before trial and stated things that were untrue. What I hope is that they retract and this gets resolved,&#8221; the FC Barcelona president told &#8216;Mundo Deportivo&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on Tuesday at the European Football Clubs (EFC) Assembly in Copenhagen, Laporta admitted that relations have &#8220;broken down&#8221; with Real Madrid. &#8220;They intervened in the &#8216;Negreira case&#8217;, we understand, merely to prolong proceedings and justify the narrative of their television channel and a predetermined agenda. That is where the confrontation lies, and relations are currently zero,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While in Denmark, Laporta also crossed paths with Gil Marin following the &#8216;Julian case&#8217;: &#8220;It was a warm, excellent reunion. When we saw each other, we both felt we had to maintain the positive relationship between both clubs as well as our personal one. I hold him in high regard, he knows it, and I feel the same warmth from him. As soon as we met, we embraced.
