The current Club World Cup format now mirrors the four-year international cycle, making it increasingly difficult for players to conquer both stages of the game in the same era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cucurella&#8217;s season has been the culmination of a sustained run at the highest level. Although he fell short in the FA Cup final against Manchester City in May 2026, he has still added major silverware across multiple competitions and continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2024, the Spanish defender has been involved in a consistent run of success, including a European Championship triumph, a Conference League title, the Club World Cup with Chelsea and now the World Cup with Spain, confirming his status as one of the most decorated defenders of his generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across seven major finals in total, Cucurella has built a career defined by consistency at the highest stage.
