Speaking in the wake of a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final first leg, the Slovenian shot-stopper remained defiant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The tie is level; everything remains wide open for the return leg in London. We put in a strong second half, created chances, pressed effectively and, truth be told, we played quite well. The ball simply wouldn&#8217;t go in, but the tie is still very much alive. We need to deliver a flawless display on Tuesday if we want to progress,&#8221; he asserted in the mixed zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oblak is &#8220;refusing to dwell on the result,&#8221; choosing instead to focus on the positives from the opening encounter. &#8220;Ultimately, we pushed for the win and that was our objective, even if we didn&#8217;t quite achieve it. We stifled Arsenal and restricted their opportunities, whereas we certainly carved out openings of our own. We leave with a sense of optimism. It is a pity we didn&#8217;t secure the victory, but it&#8217;s all to play for in the second leg, where we must raise our level even further,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Failing to win isn&#8217;t ideal, but the tie is finely poised. Even when you take an advantage into an away leg, things can become complicated.
