The midfielder was forced to leave the pitch after picking up the issue in the second half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The injury is another setback for the Belgian, who has endured an&nbsp;<strong>interrupted spell due to fitness problems<\/strong>&nbsp;since joining&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.besoccer.com\/team\/chelsea-fc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chelsea<\/a>&nbsp;in 2023. Lavia is now undergoing treatment and a recovery plan has been put in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The timeline for his&nbsp;<strong>return&nbsp;<\/strong>could depend on his progress in the coming weeks. His absence will be felt in midfield as Chelsea navigate a demanding run of fixtures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enzo Maresca will&nbsp;<strong>look to other options<\/strong>&nbsp;in the squad to fill the gap left by the 22-year-old.
