Lautaro Martinez scored again against Lazio and reached 161 goals for Inter, tying Sandro Mazzola for fourth place in the Nerazzurri’s all-time scoring charts. Now the ‘Toro’ has Roberto Boninsegna in his sights, third with 171 goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After three matches without scoring, and one spent entirely on the bench, Lautaro Martinez<\/a> was back on target in the match against Lazio, sealing a victory that takes Inter to the top of the table.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant goal, not only for morale, but also for ‘Nerazzurri’ history<\/strong>: with this goal, in fact, the Argentine captain reached 161 goals for Inter<\/a><\/strong>, tying Sandro Mazzola<\/strong> for fourth place in the club’s all-time top scorers list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An extraordinary achievement considering that the ‘Toro’ has only needed 349 matches<\/strong>, with an average of 0.46 goals per match<\/strong>, while Mazzola had played 565<\/strong>, with an average of 0.28<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just ten goals away<\/strong> is Roberto Boninsegna<\/strong>, third in the standings, a target that Lautaro could realistically reach during this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much harder, however, will be the climb to the top two spots occupied by Alessandro Altobelli<\/strong> (209 goals) and the legendary Giuseppe Meazza<\/strong>, absolute record holder with 284 goals<\/strong> in Nerazzurri colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
