The Swedish striker scored in the 2-1 victory over Southampton at Anfield in the third round of the Carabao Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to ITV Sport after the match, the player acknowledged the special emotion he felt on a very significant night for him. &#8220;Amazing. It was good to get back out there and score my first goal here, at Anfield. The win as well. So, it&#8217;s a good night,&#8221; said the striker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isak admitted that he could have scored earlier, but emphasised the importance of keeping calm inside the box. &#8220;I should have scored that one [the chance early on] as well, but that&#8217;s a part of being a striker \u2013 you miss some and then you score some,&#8221; he claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about his physical condition and his ability to perform at the highest level, the Swedish international was cautious. &#8220;It&#8217;s difficult to say. I think it&#8217;s a mixture of fitness-wise and also football-wise.
