The goalkeeper, who remains a Barcelona player after renewing his contract until 2029, will spend the season on loan at the Martinez Valero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rumour is now confirmed. After a promising start to the season with two good performances against Real Betis and Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid, Elche have confirmed the loan signing of Inaki Pena, who has renewed his contract with his parent club until 2029.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Barcelona goalkeeper will compete in Eder Sarabia&#8217;s project until the end of the current season. The Mart\u00ednez Valero will have a new guardian to compete with Mat\u00edas Dituro until 30 June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inaki Pena was not in Hansi Flick&#8217;s plans. Joan Garc\u00eda is the club&#8217;s bet, Wojciech Szczesny is their second option and Marc-Andr\u00e9 ter Stegen is another issue in the Catalan capital. The goalkeeper needed to leave to get game time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mat\u00edas Dituro is Eder Sarabia&#8217;s trusted goalkeeper.
