Arsenal have received a timely boost ahead of their Premier League meeting with Fulham as defender Piero Hincapie returned to training, according to Sky Sports.
Piero Hincapie has returned to Arsenal training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Fulham, according to Sky Sports. The Ecuadorian defender rejoined the group after missing the last few sessions as a precaution.
His presence strengthens Mikel Arteta’s defensive options ahead of the London derby against Fulham in the Premier League. Ben White, however, did not take part in training and remains doubtful for the weekend.
Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz were also absent from the group, all suffering from various injuries. The absence of Odegaard, the team captain, remains one of the coaching staff’s main concerns.
Arteta may once again be forced to reshuffle his midfield to compensate for the lack of creativity. Hincapie, meanwhile, could get some playing time against Fulham if he completes the pre-match sessions without any discomfort.
