Kyle Walker has agreed to join Everton on a one-year deal, with the final terms between the Toffees and Manchester City yet to be determined.

Kyle Walker has agreed a deal to join Everton on a season-long deal, according to sources close to the club. The 35-year-old England right-back has been in talks with the Toffees officials since his return from a loan spell at AC Milan.

Everton and Manchester City will now have to decide whether the deal will be a permanent transfer or a 12-month loan as Walker completes the final year of his contract with the Citizens.

Fulham also showed interest in the experienced defender, but were unable to meet the financial conditions necessary to complete the deal.

Walker has decided to commit to the Everton project after a season in Serie A and a brilliant spell at Manchester City, where he won 17 titles, including six Premier League championships.

He is currently in New York for a short visit before heading to Jamaica for a two-week holiday. Walker’s arrival will add experience to the defence of Sean Dyche’s side, with the deal yet to be finalised between the two clubs, according to The Sun.
