Jacobo Ramon, scorer of Real Madrid’s winning goal against Mallorca on Wednesday night, told the club’s official media about his impressions. He couldn’t even remember precisely how he scored his goal.

Real Madrid youth academy player Jacobo Ramon, who scored the winning goal in the 95th minute against Mallorca (2-1) on Wednesday, admitted that he “didn’t” know “how” he had scored the goal on a night he has “dreamed of” all his life.

“It is inexplicable. I’ve dreamed of this all my life. With this shirt, you have to go all the way. There’s no better way to score my first goal than this. I saw a cross, Vallejo headed it, I thought it was going to go there and I don’t know how, but I scored,” he said on ‘Real Madrid TV’.

“It’s impressive to score at the Bernabeu. I wouldn’t have imagined it and even more so in the minute it happened. It’s a huge source of pride and I hope there are many more to come. It was my first start here. At the beginning, I was a little nervous, but as the minutes went by, I felt better. The end was self-explanatory. I’m very happy,” he said.

Jacobo Ramon also analysed the match. “Mallorca is a good team. They scored the first goal and then they defended deeper, but we had a lot of chances. The goalkeeper played a great game”, he pointed out.
