Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will soon be announced as a new Real Madrid player, has agreed to cut short his vacation in order to play the Club World Cup with ‘Los Blancos’, according to ‘AS’.

Liverpool announced on Monday that Trent Alexander-Arnold had informed the club that he would not be renewing his contract and would therefore leave the Reds as a free agent at the end of the season.

The English full-back has an agreement with Real Madrid and all signs point to the ‘Merengues’ confirming his signing in the coming weeks, although it is possible that we could see Trent in white before the start of next season.

‘Los Blancos’ will play the new Club World Cup from June 15th to July 15th before the start of the preseason and have reached an agreement with the English full-back to shorten his vacation and play the prestigious tournament with his new team, as reported by ‘AS’.

To do so, the Spanish club must reach an agreement with Liverpool. In addition to paying him the salary corresponding to the month of June, they would have to pay a small compensation to the English club in order to release him before the end of his contract on June 30th.
