Winger Jadon Sancho, currently on loan at Chelsea from Manchester United, has expressed his delight with his new environment at Stamford Bridge.

The England winger has credited manager Enzo Maresca for fostering a positive, family-like atmosphere that has had a significant impact on the squad’s morale.

“I’m really delighted that I’m here, playing football here at Chelsea,” Sancho said, emphasising how happy he is with his move. The 23-year-old went on to praise Maresca’s leadership, describing how the manager has helped the team gel.

“Maresca makes us feel at home. It’s not easy for players to say that. We’ve grown into one big family. The lads are very good and every day is a fun day,” he added.

With the club’s morale lifted, Sancho appears to be thriving in his new surroundings. His excitement about being part of a team that feels like a family suggests that Chelsea could be a place where he can rediscover his best form after a challenging period at Manchester United.
