Getafe coach Jose Bordalas admitted after the win in Girona (1-2) that he is running out of “adjectives” for his players because of the way they face the games and the way they compete.
Bordalas congratulated his players and was “extremely proud” of them and admitted that the “good run” of this 2025 has served to “gain confidence”, after a first round in which the team has suffered a lot and has experienced many problems.
The Alicante coach also stressed that in the dressing room there is ‘not a single player who thinks about anything other than not being relegated” and that La Liga EA Sports is “very complicated” and “all the teams are in a tight spot, with minimal differences in points”.
Bordalas also pointed out that the team did not fall apart and had “a very good reaction” that helped them to get “three very important points”, after the equaliser from a Girona side ‘made to play in Europe’.
