Real Madrid suffered a tough setback against Milan (1-3) and Lunin, speaking to the microphones of ‘Movistar Liga de Campeones’, described his team’s last two defeats as “inexplicable”.
Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin described his team’s last two defeats against Barca (0-4) and Milan (1-3) as “inexplicable” and assured that they must “analyse well” what happened.
“I can’t say good night. The last two defeats are inexplicable. We have to analsze well and react quickly. We have to bounce back,” he said before the microphones of ‘Movistar Liga de Campeones’.
“I don’t see the team nervous. Unfortunately in football there are difficult moments, bad streaks. We understand that we are Madrid, that we must always win and that there are no excuses. We have to react quickly, win the next game, reduce the chances on our goal, take advantage of our own… I don’t see anyone nervous or with any problems”, he added.
Lunin valued the whistles of his fans at halftime for the team’s poor performance. “The Santiago Bernabeu has always been a demanding stadium. This helps us in difficult moments, because of the unforgettable matches we have pulled out. The fans are always with us and I can only thank them and improve,” he concluded.
