Al-Hilal willing to swap Neymar for Vinicius

Al-Hilal are desperate to secure Real Madrid winger Vinicius’ services. According to Marca, the board is even considering a move for Neymar to give him the place of the team’s benchmark player, although it doesn’t look like the dream is going to become a reality.

This summer, Vinicius has been one of the targets of the Saudi league. They came to offer him €1 billion for five seasons, but the Brazilian turned down all offers.

Time has passed, but the interest of several clubs in the Real Madrid forward has not. One of those interested, according to Marca, is Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal already managed to convince Neymar to try his luck in Saudi Arabia. However, the player has not been able to shine. He is currently injured and is expected to return at the beginning of 2025.

The board is considering evaluating his performance and will then decide what to do with the Brazilian. Spanish outlet Marca explains that they would be open to releasing him if they find a loophole in his contract that would allow them to dispense with his services.

And the position that Neymar would leave behind could well be filled by Vinicius, although it seems more of a pipe dream than a reality. The player has already said that he still has a lot to gain in Europe and does not seem willing to move to Saudi Arabia no matter how much money they offer him in a possible contract.
