Real Madrid have confirmed Kylian Mbappe has suffered an injury to his femoral bicep of his right leg in the game against Deportivo Alaves on Tuesday. The player is reportedly set to be sidelined for three weeks and will miss the derby against Atletico Madrid.
The confirmation came via an official announcement from the club, after the player sustained medical examination fromt the Real Madrid staff.
“Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s Medical Services on our player Kylian Mbappé, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg. His progress will be monitored,” reads the announcement.
‘Los Blancos’ will have to manage without the newly-signed French international, who was on great form, scoring four goals in the last four games for Real Madrid.
