According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, Gavi will join the rest of the squad on Thursday. However, he will only take part in part of the training session, as he is expected to be fully recovered in October or November.
Barcelona resumed training on Tuesday, with the presence of some of the internationals who have been joining the team on a day-to-day basis. However, one of the new additions at the session was Ansu Fati, who rejoined the rest of the squad after making a full recovery from injury and could even be in the squad for the game against Girona on Sunday.
It seems that he may not be the only one. According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, Gavi could be the next to join up with the group on Thursday, something that Hansi Flick hopes in good faith.
However, the midfielder has not yet been medically cleared, so this is just another step in his long recovery. For the time being, he will only do part of the session with the rest of his team-mates.
He is expected to be fully fit in October or even November, as he does not want to take any kind of risk. In recent weeks, the club themselves have been publishing videos of the Andalusian training on his own and increasing his workload and pace.
