Ousmane Dembele, in the run-up to the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final between PSG and Aston Villa, could not assure that the current Parisian team is the best he has played for, as he has also done so at Barca alongside the “best player ever” Leo Messi.

Paris Saint-Germain is facing one of the most promising seasons in their modern history. The Parisian team have been proclaimed unbeaten Ligue 1 champion, qualified for the final of the Coupe de France and are one step away from the Champions League semi-finals after beating Aston Villa 3-1 in the first leg.

Luis Enrique’s team has become one of the best teams in Europe in the second half of the season with a stylish style of play, led by Ousmane Dembele who has reached his peak.

The French attacker has scored 32 goals and provided 9 assists in 41 games so far, making PSG one of the clear candidates to win the Champions League.

In the run-up to the second leg against Aston Villa, the former Barcelona player was asked if this current PSG was the best team he had ever played for, something Dembele could not say for sure as he has also played for the ‘Cules’ alongside Leo Messi.

“I love playing for this PSG team, it’s a pleasure. I don’t know, as I also played at Barcelona with Messi who’s the best player ever,” he replied.
