Las Palmas announced on Friday the arrival on loan of Fabio Silva. The Portuguese striker joins Luis Carrion’s La Liga project from Wolves.
Portuguese striker Fabio Silva will play on loan until the end of this season at Las Palmas from Wolves, the island club announced on Friday through their channels.
The 22-year-old started his football career in the ranks of Porto and Benfica. In the 2019-2020 season he joined the ‘Dragoes’, who sent him to the Premier League in the 2020-2021 campaign.
The new striker has played on loan in recent seasons for clubs such as Anderlecht, PSV and Rangers. An international with Portugal U21, he has played more than 60 games in the Premier League but has also played in the Eredivisie, Premiership, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League and FA CAP.
He has won the Portuguese League and Portuguese Cup with Porto. He also won the Dutch Cup -PSV-; and UEFA Youth League champion with Porto. Fabio Silva has been called up by the Portuguese U21 national team to play in the qualifier for Euro 2025 against Croatia, which will take place on 10 September.
