“I saw myself between life and death, I was afraid”

Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, spoke to ‘El Chiriguinto’ by telephone while he is recovering from the stab wounds he suffered. He explained that he is already feeling better and that he has left the ICU, although he admitted to having been “scared, like any human being”. “I have to be calm for everyone’s sake,” he said.

Lamine Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, received two serious stab wounds in a parking lot in Mataro. He was immediately taken to the hospital and, fortunately, he has already left the ICU, recovering from his wounds.

“Thank God, I’ve just left the ICU and I’m a little better,” he explained to ‘El Chiringuito’ by phone. “I have to be calm for everyone’s sake, mine and my family’s,” he continued.

Mounir Nasraoui confessed how bad he had it, “I saw myself between life and death, of course I was afraid, like any human being”, he detailed.

There are already 4 people arrested for these events and Mounir Nasraoui only hopes that the culprits will pay for what they have done: “We must think that justice will do its job well and it will surely do it, that is the most important thing. Thank God, I am very big and everything has a solution”.

The father of the Barcelona wonderkid is confident that he will be discharged soon, although the doctors have not told him when this will happen. “I don’t know when I will be discharged, but I hope it will be as soon as possible. I am grateful to be able to talk again,” he said.

Finally, he thanked everyone for being concerned about his health and spoke about the season that awaits Lamine Yamal’s team: “This year, Barcelona will be a great team and will do great things”.
