Barcelona boss Hansi Flick reacted on the microphones of ‘Movistar+’ to the CSD’s precautionary measure for the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. The German admitted that he found out about the news on the bus and quickly went to tell those involved and the rest of the squad.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has assured that the decision of the Superior Sports Council (CSD) to uphold the urgent precautionary measure requested by the club for players Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor is “very good news” for the team.
“I found out on the bus and informed Pau Victor and Dani Olmo directly, as well as the whole team. It’s very good news for us. We are very happy, the players are happy and the whole club is happy with this decision,” said the German coach in statements to ‘Movistar+’.
The Barcelona coach admitted that “it hasn’t been the best few weeks” because of the uncertainty over whether both players would be able to continue playing for the Catalan side
The former Germany coach stressed that the CSD’s decision was “another reason to win the game” against Athletic Club in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final.
