According to TEAMtalk, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have both made enquiries regarding Josko Gvardiol as uncertainty continues surrounding the defender’s long-term future at Manchester City.

According to reports from TEAMtalk, representatives of the Croatia international have been approached amid growing interest from Europe’s elite clubs.

Gvardiol remains under contract at City until 2028, though his performances have naturally attracted attention from sides looking to strengthen defensively.

Manchester City, however, are eager to secure the 24-year-old’s future and are already working towards a new long-term agreement.

The club continue to see him as a central figure in their plans thanks to his versatility, with Gvardiol capable of operating both as a centre-back and on the left side of defence.

Since arriving from RB Leipzig in 2023, the Croatian has established himself as one of Europe’s standout defenders. Despite currently recovering from a broken leg, interest in his situation remains strong, reinforcing City’s determination to ward off potential suitors with an improved contract.
