LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David will soon be announced as a new Juventus player after reaching a verbal agreement to sign a long-term contract with the ‘Vecchia Signora’.
During all transfer windows there are a number of players who finish their contracts with their respective clubs and when they do not reach an agreement to renew them, they can join other teams as free agents.
Generally these players are highly coveted in the market as there is no transfer fee to pay for them. In the case of the 2025 summer transfer window, Jonathan David is one of the biggest bargains.
The Canadian striker from LOSC Lille decided not to renew his contract with the French club, and his 25 goals and 12 assists in 49 appearances last season put him on the radar of big European clubs.
However, the 25-year-old’s transfer saga has not lasted long, as according to Fabrizio Romano, David has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus to join them.
According to the Italian journalist, the Canadian striker will soon travel to Turin to undergo medical tests and sign his long-term contract with Igor Tudor’s side.
