Mbappe spotted in Stockholm on brief holiday

Swedish outlet Sport Bladet on Friday published several photographs of Kylian Mbappe on the night of 10 October in Stockholm, when France were playing in the Nations League against Israel.

“There was no request. The decision is mine,” Deschamps told a news conference ahead of France’s Nations League clash with Israel in Budapest on Thursday.

The Real Madrid forward, who was not yet fully fit, got a few days off to avoid FIFA after the coach saw fit not to call him up for Les Bleus. However, Swedish media outlet Sport Bladet on Friday published photographs of his night on 10 October, the same day as the Nations League match between Israel and France.

Mbappe was in Stockholm. There, the Frenchman started the evening at the Chez Jolie restaurant, famous in the Nordic city. In the photographs, he is accompanied by three other people. Kylian was also wearing a black cap and a black mask.

According to Sport Bladet, after the evening he was seen leaving in a black van and arrived at the V club in Stureplan, entering through the garage. He was greeted by several people, who had already booked a private room for the meeting.

Mbappe, by not attending the appointment with the French national team, will not have any more matches on the calendar until the La Liga encounter between Celta and Real Madrid in eight days. Should he not be at full strength, the next fixtures will be Borussia Dortmund (22 October) and the Clasico against Barcelona (26 October).
