Barcelona announced on Monday that Ferran Torres has suffered a muscle injury. The winger injured the biceps femoris in his right thigh in the La Liga match against Alaves.
Injuries pile up for Barcelona as the games go by. On this occasion, the player affected was Ferran Torres, who had to withdraw five minutes into the La Liga match against Alaves.
Following tests carried out by Barcelona’s medical services, the winger is suffering from “a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of the right thigh” which will prevent him from playing for Spain.
The Catalan club have not given an estimated time out, but according to ‘RAC1’, Ferran Torres could be out of action for between seven and eight weeks.
This is another important absence for Hansi Flick’s side, who will have Dani Olmo back after the international break. The next to do so will be Gavi, who is already looking forward to it.
