Sergio Ramos could continue his professional career in Italy. According to ‘Tuttosport’, Juventus are reportedly considering a move for the centre-back to take the place of the injured Gleison Bremer. There are more options on the agenda, but their favourite is the former Sevilla player.
Since 30 June, Sergio Ramos has been looking for a team. He finished his contract with Sevilla and has not found the project that motivates him to continue his career, but that could change soon.
In Italy, Juventus are reportedly interested in signing the experienced centre-back. Gleison Bremer broke his cruciate muscle during the Champions League match against RB Leipzig and could be out of action for seven to eight months.
Sergio Ramos, according to ‘Tuttosport’, is the Italians’ main contender, but not the only one. Other names on their books include Joel Matip, Simon Kjaer and Konstantinos Manolas.
The defender, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, MLS and even the Mexican league, continues to prepare for his return to the pitch. He last played against Barcelona on 26 May 2024, almost five months ago.
At 38 years of age, Sergio Ramos has shown that he still has football left in his boots and he is training for it. Let’s see if he finally gets that call from Serie A.
