Luis Díaz has emerged as a leading candidate to strengthen Barcelona’s attack, with recent social media activity fuelling speculation about a potential move to the Catalan club.
Barcelona’s transfer market remains quiet, with the signing of Joan Garcia almost completed as the only move so far. However, the sporting management, headed by Deco, is clear that it is necessary to reinforce the attack to give greater depth to the squad and rest the first-choice strikers.
In this context, Luis Diaz has positioned himself as one of the club’s main targets for next season. The Colombian winger, currently at Liverpool, has shown his interest in Barca through his social networks, where he recently started following the team managed by Hansi Flick.
In addition, Diaz also follows several players linked to the club, such as Raphinha and Leo Messi, which has been interpreted as a nod to the Catalan club.
Along with Diaz, the name of Marcus Rashford has also been mentioned as a possible reinforcement, although the Colombian seems to be the preferred option on Deco’s agenda. The deal, however, will depend on the club’s ability to afford the transfer and Liverpool’s willingness to negotiate.
